June Muster 12-14th Join
Us!
Our June muster
begins on Friday, June 12th. We continue to need your help! Our goal is to have
forty people in camp over the weekend. So please come and join us. The
Muster in May was quiet on Friday and Friday night. BP had told us there had
been activity in the Jewel Valley area with a number of crossings on Thursday
and Friday morning. But we did not see anything. On Saturday evening,
three teams in the Campo area observed spotters on top of the hill where Border
Marker 241 is located. As one of our teams started up the hill on the U.S. side,
five to six illegals were seen heading south; back into Mexico. But at least
three or four remained on top. When our team got to the top, they greeted the
spotters. A proverbial Mexican Standoff began. It was clear that those on the
south side were not happy with our presence. Cordial verbal responses were then
shared between both sides. A call was made to BP and BP responded. They helped
us chase the remaining people off the hill.Camp Vigilance has a complete, self-contained area, for tenting and RV's. We
need reservations sent to: reservations@camp vigilance.com to allow us to plan on
meals for this Muster and who needs a space to camp! We will also be
having our 4th of July
Celebration with the featured speaker being Tom
Tancredo.
